This is a newer attraction in Glendale, located right off the Loop 101. It is in a convenient spot that is super easy to get to. Top Golf is semi-indoors and gives you a gorgeous view of the desert landscape. This is a terrific spot to enjoy the cooler weather on either a Saturday afternoon or even a Tuesday night.

State Farm Stadium

Do you love football? State Farm Stadium is the home of the Arizona Cardinals and now is the best time to catch a game. The stadium has an open roof, so it is a beautiful place to enjoy the weather while watching some football. The stadium also hosts other events such as Monster Jam.

Throughout the month of October, there are a handful of festivals around the valley, which is just a short drive from Glendale. Festivals such as the Arizona Taco Festival and the Home and Garden Show. In addition to these festivals, the Arizona State Fair is located in downtown Phoenix throughout the month of October. Take your friends and family for some rides and fantastic fair food. Additionally, they have a different line-up of concerts each year.

Fall festivals are also throughout the city offering trick or treating for the kids, games and even costume contests. One of the most well-known pumpkin patches is located atTolmachoff Farms. With the weather cooling down, now is the time to enjoy the fresh air and get out on a hike. Thunderbird Park has a few different trails, leading up to a gorgeous view at the top, plus they have things for the kids! Piestewa Peak is a harder hike, so if you are looking for a challenge, this is it. Imagine walking on a Stairmaster for an hour–that is what this steep hike is like, but is well worth the views at the top.
